Fanshawe College was founded in 1967 in London, Ontario, as one of the province's colleges of applied arts and technology. It is one of Ontario's largest colleges, offering practical, career-focused certificates, diplomas, graduate certificates and a small number of degrees.

Fanshawe is known for one-year and two-year Ontario College Graduate Certificates in data analytics, artificial intelligence, supply chain and health care management, and for co-op advanced diplomas in computer programming and cyber security.
