Draft for review

This page is a working draft prepared for launch and is being reviewed for compliance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we are

Admission Mantra ("we", "us") provides education counselling for study abroad, MBBS abroad, English language training and online degrees. For this website we decide why and how your personal data is processed.

What we collect

When you fill in a form, we collect only what we need to respond to you:

  • Contact details: name, mobile number, email address and, if you choose to share it, a parent or guardian's number.
  • Education details you choose to give us: study level, marks bands, test or NEET status, preferred countries, courses or universities, budget range and timeline.
  • Preferences: how and when you would like us to contact you, and whether you want occasional updates.
  • Technical and campaign information: the page you submitted the form from and campaign parameters in the link you used (for example utm_source).

We do not ask for passport, Aadhaar or other identity documents through website forms.

Why we use it

  • To contact you about your enquiry and arrange counselling.
  • To suggest suitable universities, courses or classes.
  • With your separate permission, to send occasional updates about intakes, events and deadlines.
  • To understand which pages and campaigns help students, using aggregated data.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect against misuse of the website.

Consent

We process the data you submit on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our forms. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

Children

Many of our enquiries come from school students. If you are under 18, please fill in our forms with your parent or guardian, who must agree to you sharing your details with us.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers who help us run our business, such as our CRM, email, SMS and WhatsApp messaging providers, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
  • Universities, colleges or training providers, only when you ask us to help with an application to them.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as we need it to provide counselling and follow up, and then delete or anonymise it unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance with us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Cookies and analytics

Analytics cookies are only used if you allow them. See our cookie policy.

Contact and grievances

Contact details for our grievance officer will be published here. You can also reach us through the contact page.
