About Kazimieras Simonavičius University
Kazimieras Simonavičius University (KSU) is a private university in Vilnius, founded in 2003. It is named after Kazimieras Simonavičius, a 17th-century engineer from the Grand Duchy of Lithuania whose book on artillery included early designs for multistage rockets, a nod to the university's best-known field, aviation management.
KSU is small and specialised. Its English-taught degrees focus on aviation management (with IATA and ICA certificates), the fashion industry, cinema industry management, contemporary communication and media, business management and, at master's level, organisational innovation, integrated communication and fashion management. Classes are in small groups with many practitioners from the aviation, media and fashion industries, and some programmes are also available online.
