Scholarships in Latvia at a glance
Quick read
- Latvia's fees are moderate, and most funding for Indian students takes the form of tuition discounts at private institutions such as RISEBA and TSI.
- Erasmus Mundus joint master's with Latvian partners, such as Rīga Stradiņš University, fully fund top applicants.
- Once enrolled, you may be able to spend a semester elsewhere in Europe with an Erasmus+ exchange grant.
- Indian trusts such as K.C. Mahindra and J N Tata can help with postgraduate study.
- Scholarship options are limited, so budget for the full fee and living costs.
Latvia does not have a large scholarship scheme for Indian students. Public universities focus their state-funded places on Latvian and EU students, while private institutions offer discounts for good results and other categories.
We list only funding that is real and open to Indian students. Ask the university which discount categories apply to non-EU students before you apply.
