About Keyano College
Keyano College is a community college in Fort McMurray, in north-central Alberta's oil sands region. It offers certificates, diplomas, trades training and degrees, some in partnership with the University of Alberta and NAIT.
For Indian students, Keyano's main draws are the Practical Nurse diploma, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with the University of Alberta), the Social Work diploma, Environmental Technology and university transfer routes into commerce and engineering. International tuition for 2026-27 is about CAD 14,700 to 23,600 a year, and the college has its own furnished housing. Fort McMurray is a small, remote city with long, cold winters. Several popular programmes, such as power engineering, paramedicine and hospitality, are not open to international students.
