About the university

The University of Buckingham, founded in 1976, is a small independent university in the market town of Buckingham. It is the only independent UK university with a Royal Charter and says it pioneered the two-year bachelor's degree, saving students time and money. It describes itself as one of the smallest UK universities, with one riverside campus.

For Indian students the main points are the two-year degrees, January as well as September starts, and English waivers for 75% in Class 12 English from CBSE or CISCE (not Punjab or Haryana). Several one-year MSc courses are £18,000 for September 2027 entry, and the MBA Strategic Leadership is £22,144. Fees vary by course, so check each course page.
