About the university

Northeastern University London is a private university at St Katharine Docks in central London, and part of the Boston-based Northeastern University's network of 14 campuses. It was formerly the New College of the Humanities.

It teaches three-year undergraduate degrees in business, computer science, data science, economics, law, philosophy, politics and psychology, and one-year master's degrees in applied AI, fintech, international business and project management. Indian students look at it for its central London campus and its January master's intake.

    Admission requirements

    Undergraduate

    • Typical offer ABB–BBB at A level or 32–34 IB points, or an equivalent international qualification. The pages we opened do not give a Class 12 percentage; check the requirements-by-country page.
    • Applications go through UCAS.

    Postgraduate

    • Typically a UK second-class (2:2) honours degree or an international equivalent.
    • Applicants with relevant professional experience are also considered and reviewed individually.

    What are the international fees at Northeastern University London?

    For 2027/28 entry, undergraduate fees are £24,573 a year for economics, law, philosophy, psychology and politics, and £29,263 a year for business, data science and the computing degrees. One-year master's programmes are £25,522 for January 2027 entry.

    Does it have a January intake?

    Yes. The Applied AI, Fintech Management, International Business and Project Management master's degrees list January 2027 and September 2027 starts.

    What IELTS score do I need?

    IELTS Academic 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each part, or PTE 60, Duolingo 115 or another accepted test.

    Are there scholarships for Indian students?

    International undergraduates are considered for merit scholarships of up to £3,000, and some master's pages show a 15% fee scholarship.
