About London Interdisciplinary School
The London Interdisciplinary School (LIS) is a small private university in Whitechapel, east London, founded in 2020. It says it was the first UK university since the 1960s to receive degree awarding powers from inception. LIS teaches one undergraduate degree, the BASc in Interdisciplinary Problems & Methods, which mixes arts and sciences around real-world problems, plus MASc degrees and an MBA.
International students can join the BASc and the full-time MASc programmes, which LIS sponsors for the Student visa. The part-time MASc programmes and the LIS MBA are not sponsored, so they are not listed here. Indian students who want a broad, problem-based degree rather than a single subject may find LIS worth a look.
