About Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts
The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) is a specialist performing arts school in central Liverpool. It teaches about 1,000 students on foundation, BA (Hons) and MA courses in acting, dance, music, sound technology, filmmaking, theatre design and production, and arts management.
A quarter of LIPA's students are international, and India is one of the countries it lists as a common source of applicants. Courses are small, with 20 to 36 places a year on many degrees, and applicants are assessed through the application and an interview or audition stage.
