About the university

Lincoln Bishop University, formerly Bishop Grosseteste University, is a small university in the historic centre of Lincoln. It began in 1862 as an Anglican teacher-training college for women and still specialises in education, teacher training, early childhood and humanities, alongside newer business courses. It describes itself as the UK's No. 1 university for student satisfaction.

For Indian students it offers some of the lower international fees in England: £14,380 a year for a bachelor's degree and £16,925 for a full-time master's (2026/27 entry). Some business degrees with January starts are open only to international applicants, and every international student is guaranteed campus-managed housing for the whole course.
