About the university
Coventry University traces its history to the Coventry School of Design, founded in 1843, and became a university in 1992. It is now one of the UK's largest providers of international education, with more than half of its students coming from outside the UK.
The university is known for practical, career-focused teaching, close links with industry and modern facilities on a compact campus in the centre of Coventry. Its engineering, automotive and business courses are especially popular, and the city has a long history in car and aerospace manufacturing.
For Indian students the main attractions are lower fees than at most Russell Group universities and flexible start dates. Most master's courses on this page cost £19,500 a year, take one year full time and start in September, November, January or March. A £2,000-a-year Group Scholarship is open to self-funded international students.
Coventry is a mid-sized city in the West Midlands, about an hour from London by train and close to Birmingham. It has a large South Asian community, and living costs are lower than in London.
