About the university

The Academy of Live Technology (ALT) is a small private provider that trains people for the live events and entertainment industry: concerts, festivals, stage and production management, live visuals and virtual production. It was set up in 2009, began as Backstage Academy, and teaches at Production Park in the Wakefield area, with a second campus at Rock Lititz in the USA. Teaching is project-based in live studios and venues.

ALT is a licensed Student visa sponsor and welcomes international students on its full-time BA, FdA, MA and MSc courses. However, it does not publish international tuition fees online, so we list no courses here. Ask the admissions team (admissions@altech.ac.uk) for the international fee before you apply.
