About the university
The University of Seville is one of Spain's largest public universities. Its roots go back to 1505, when the Colegio Santa María de Jesús was founded. Today it has more than 60,000 students and a master's catalogue of about 110 official programmes.
Its catalogue is especially broad in engineering, with master's in aeronautical, industrial, telecommunication, microelectronics, software and biomedical engineering, alongside health sciences, sciences, business and law.
For Indian students the big draw is cost. US master's pages list €12.62 or €13.68 per ECTS credit, so a one-year, 60-credit master's costs about €821 in tuition. The catch is language: almost every programme is taught in Spanish and many ask for B2 Spanish. Only a handful, such as the Master's in Operation of Space Systems, are taught fully in English.
Seville is the capital of Andalusia. It is a large, historic city, and daily life runs in Spanish, so it suits students willing to learn the language.
