About the university
Yoobee College of Creative Innovation is a private college that describes itself as New Zealand's largest specialised creative and technology institution. It has trained people for the creative and tech industries for about 30 years under various names, and today teaches more than 1,800 students a year from certificate to master's level.
Yoobee is best known for animation, digital design, film and screen production, and software engineering. It is a Rookies Certified School and one of two New Zealand schools recognised for excellence in Toon Boom 2D animation. Classes are hands-on and portfolio-based.
For Indian students the draw is a set of one-year (45-week) master's degrees in software engineering, business analytics, healthcare informatics and management, with five start dates a year. Tuition is NZ$40,700–41,800 for the whole programme, and Yoobee offers scholarships of up to NZ$10,000 on master's degrees.
The main campus is on City Road in central Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, with further campuses in Wellington and Christchurch. Remember that Yoobee is a private college, not a university, so check how your chosen qualification fits your career and visa plans.
