About the university
The New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (NZSATCM) was established in 1989 and describes itself as the oldest school of its kind in New Zealand. It holds NZQA's Category 1 rating, the highest available. Its main qualification is the Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture); NZQA's 2019 review described a four-year degree taught alongside diplomas in tuina and Chinese herbal medicine, at campuses in Auckland and Wellington.
The Careers NZ listing says international students should contact the school and show they meet visa requirements. NZSATCM does not publish international fees on any page we could read, so no fees are listed here; ask the school (admin@nzsao.com) for the current fee, campus and intake before applying.
