About the university
The New Zealand Graduate School of Education (NZGSE) is a small private teacher-training school in Christchurch, founded in 1995. It trains people who already hold a degree to become primary or secondary teachers through the Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching. Interns spend about two thirds of their time in schools, with tutors giving feedback in the classroom, and typically about 80 are enrolled.
The fees page lists international fees for the January 2026 intake (NZ$38,048 for primary and NZ$30,428 for secondary) and says international students must pay in full and in advance, but it does not say whether these cover a year or the whole diploma, and no 2027 fee is shown. We therefore list no course fee here; confirm the fee, intake and visa eligibility with NZGSE before applying.
