About the university
IPU New Zealand is a small private tertiary institute in Palmerston North, owned by Japan's Soshi Gakuen Group. It teaches a three-year Bachelor of Contemporary International Studies (majors include business, international relations, Japanese studies and TESOL), one-year New Zealand diplomas in business and in tourism and travel, a Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Global Business, and English language courses. Students live and study on one campus.
IPU takes international students directly or through registered agents. The latest international fee guide we found on its site is for 2025, and we could not read its fee table clearly, so no tuition fees are listed here; ask IPU (info@ipu.ac.nz) for the current international fee. The Master of Contemporary International Studies no longer takes new students.
