About the university

Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool Rotterdam) is a large public university of applied sciences in Rotterdam, Europe's biggest port city. Its schools include Rotterdam Business School, the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Willem de Kooning Academy for art and design.

Most programmes are taught in Dutch. The main English-taught options for international students are the four-year International Business bachelor's (with a three-year fast track) at Rotterdam Business School, art and design bachelor's at the Willem de Kooning Academy, and one-year master's such as International Supply Chain Management, Consultancy and Entrepreneurship, Shipping and Transport, and Sustainability Transitions.

Indian students look at Rotterdam UAS for logistics, shipping and supply chain master's tied to the Port of Rotterdam, and for a practical business bachelor's in a big, international city. The non-EU deadline of 1 April is earlier than at many Dutch universities.
