About the university
Riga Business School (RBS) is the English-language business school of Riga Technical University. RTU says it has run within the university since 1991, when it was set up with the State University of New York at Buffalo and the University of Ottawa, and that it has more than 1,000 alumni.
RBS is small and selective. Its three-year BBA in international business management offers double-degree options with BI Norwegian Business School or the University at Buffalo, and a four-year Bachelor of IT Leadership (Computer Science and Organizational Technologies) combines AI and data with management. At master's level it runs a Professional MBA built on North American MBA standards and the MERIT master's in managing smart, resilient systems.
For Indian students, RBS offers an American-style business degree in an EU capital at fees well below US or UK levels, with a holistic admission process (maths exercise, English test and interview) rather than a cut-off. There are no state-funded places, so every student pays fees, but the school has merit scholarships.
The school is in central Riga, Latvia's capital. RBS also hosts an English Language Centre that is a certified TOEFL iBT test centre.
