About the university
Trinity College Dublin was founded in 1592 and is Ireland's oldest and best-known university. Its walled campus sits in the very centre of Dublin, at College Green, and its Old Library holds the Book of Kells, a ninth-century illuminated manuscript that draws visitors from around the world. Writers Oscar Wilde and Samuel Beckett both studied here.
Trinity is Ireland's highest-ranked university in the QS World University Rankings. Its Trinity Business School runs one-year master's courses in business analytics, finance, marketing and management, and its School of Computer Science and Statistics teaches computing and data courses that are popular with Indian students.
Most one-year business master's courses for 2027/28 cost about €24,600 to €27,300 for non-EU students, the MSc in Computer Science €28,760 and the full-time MBA €37,300. After graduating, master's students can usually stay in Ireland for up to 24 months on Stamp 1G to look for work.
Dublin is the European base of many global technology, pharmaceutical and finance firms, which is a big draw for graduates. It is also one of Europe's most expensive cities to rent in, so plan accommodation early.
