About the university
Munster Technological University (MTU) is a public, multi-campus technological university in the south and south-west of Ireland, with its main campus at Bishopstown in Cork and further campuses in Cork city and Tralee, County Kerry.
MTU teaches bachelor's, honours bachelor's, master's and PhD degrees with a practical, industry-linked focus. Its Cork campuses include the Crawford College of Art & Design, the Cork School of Music and the National Maritime College of Ireland.
Indian students mostly look at MTU's one-year master's courses in data science, artificial intelligence and cyber security, plus business, digital marketing and engineering. Non-EU fees are €15,000 for those three tech master's and €13,500 for other courses, and every self-funded non-EU applicant is automatically considered for a €2,500 to €3,000 scholarship.
MTU was formed by merging Cork Institute of Technology and IT Tralee, and has two main locations and six sites across Cork and Kerry. It has over 1,000 international students from over 125 countries.
