About the university
Murdoch University is a public university in Perth, Western Australia, founded in 1973 and named after Sir Walter Murdoch. Its Dubai campus opened in 2008 and teaches Australian degrees with the same curriculum and award as Perth.
Murdoch Dubai focuses on three-year bachelor's degrees in business, information technology, communication and psychology, with majors that Indian students often look for: accounting, finance, marketing, computer science, cyber security and forensics, artificial intelligence and games design. At postgraduate level it offers an MBA and a Master of Education.
All bachelor's degrees cost the same, AED 61,160 a year for 2027 entry, so a full degree is AED 183,480 — one of the lower prices for an Australian degree in Dubai. Students can transfer to Murdoch's Perth campus during their degree, which some families use as a lower-cost first step towards Australia.

Undergraduate
- Class 12 from CBSE, CISCE or a state board; Mathematics is useful for IT and business majors.
- If you do not meet direct entry, the Foundation Program (1 year, AED 47,820) or a one-year diploma can lead into a degree.
- Apply online for one of the trimester intakes.
Postgraduate
- MBA: a recognised bachelor's degree; work experience may be required or shorten the course.
- MEd: a bachelor's degree, usually in education or a related field.
