About the university
Middlesex University grew out of colleges in north London and became a university in 1992. Its Dubai campus opened in 2005 and has become one of the largest UK branch campuses in the UAE, with a large Indian and South Asian student community.
MDX Dubai teaches three-year bachelor's degrees and one-year master's degrees across business, accounting and finance, computing and informatics, psychology, law, media, art and design, health and education, and sport science. All bachelor's programmes have one flat fee — AED 64,557 a year in 2026/27 — which makes MDX one of the more affordable UK-degree options in Dubai.
Postgraduate study is popular with Indian graduates: one-year MSc degrees in data science and AI, cyber security, robotics, engineering management and finance cost AED 76,491–94,101 in total, and MBA specialisations cost AED 84,872. Programmes follow Middlesex's UK curriculum and lead to a Middlesex degree.
The campus is in Dubai Knowledge Park, close to Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City, where many technology and media employers are based. Students who need visa sponsorship get a UAE student residence visa through the university.

Admission requirements
Undergraduate
- Class 12 from CBSE, CISCE or a state board, with the subject requirements of the programme (for example Mathematics for computing).
- Apply online to MDX Dubai; undergraduate degrees are three years (360 credits).
- The International Foundation Programme is an entry route if you need extra preparation.
Postgraduate
- A recognised bachelor's degree in a related subject; some MSc programmes accept graduates from other fields with relevant experience.
- MBA specialisations may ask for work experience; check the course page.
- Apply online; one-year master's programmes usually start in September, with some January starts.

Campus and location
The campus is in Dubai Knowledge Park, next to Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City, with the Dubai Metro nearby.
