About the university
Manipal Academy of Higher Education was founded in Manipal, Karnataka, in 1953 and is one of India's best-known private universities, with a strong reputation in engineering, medicine-related sciences and management. Its Dubai campus opened in 2000 in Dubai International Academic City and is one of the largest Indian university campuses abroad.
MAHE Dubai offers a wide range of programmes taught in English and familiar to Indian families: BTech degrees in computer science, AI and robotics, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering; BBA, BCom (including an ACCA route); BSc degrees in psychology, information systems, biotechnology and nutrition; architecture and interior design; media; and MBA, MTech and MSc programmes.
Fees are lower than at most UK, US and Australian branch campuses in Dubai: AED 44,100–57,750 a year for bachelor's degrees (BTech AED 57,750) and AED 42,525–57,750 a year for master's degrees, for the batch starting in September 2026. Evening BTech and BBA programmes cost less and suit students who work.

Admission requirements
Undergraduate
- Class 12 from CBSE, CISCE or a state board; BTech needs Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, biotechnology programmes need Biology.
- MAHE Dubai sets its own minimum marks for each programme; check with admissions.
- Apply online to MAHE Dubai; most day programmes start in September.
Postgraduate
- MBA: a bachelor's degree in any subject.
- MTech and MSc: a bachelor's degree in a related subject.
- Several master's and PG diploma programmes have February as well as September intakes.
