About the university
Philips University is a private university in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. Its licence to operate as a university was granted by the Cyprus Council of Ministers in October 2019, with effect from February 2013.
It is a small university focused on business, accounting and finance, computing, nursing and communications. Most bachelor's degrees take four years (240 ECTS), and the MBA takes 18 months and is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the UK.
Indian students look at Philips for English-taught business and computing degrees in an EU country. Entry English levels are modest (IELTS 5.5–6 for bachelor's, 6.5 for the MBA). Tuition amounts are not published online, so ask the Admissions Office for a written fee quote before you apply.
