About the university
Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) is a private university founded in 2007 in Paphos, a coastal city in the west of Cyprus. It is a compact, career-focused university with strengths in accounting and finance, business, law, architecture, real estate and civil engineering. It is a member of the EMERGE European University Alliance and takes part in Erasmus+ exchanges.
Two features stand out for international students. First, NUP teaches two law programmes in partnership with the University of Reading in the UK: the three-year LLB in Law and the LLM in International Commercial Law are awarded by Reading. Second, its BSc Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, taught entirely in English, is backed by the JetBrains Foundation, which funds full scholarships with a monthly stipend for a group of students each year after an entrance test.
Many NUP programmes are offered in either English or Greek, and some (such as Psychology and Public Administration) only in Greek. English-taught options include BSc Accounting, Banking and Finance, BSc Computer Science and AI, BSc International Relations and Security, Product Design Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, the MBA, and master's degrees in accounting, banking and finance, data analytics and fintech, digital marketing, forensic accounting and information systems.
Paphos is quieter and usually cheaper than Nicosia or Limassol, with its own international airport about 15 km from the city. The trade-off is a smaller job market, built mainly around tourism, real estate and services. NUP does not publish its tuition fees online, so always get the fee for your programme confirmed in writing before you apply.

Careers and graduate outcomes
NUP's accounting degree carries exemptions from all nine ACCA fundamental papers, and the university runs a professional experience programme with EY and ACCA. Paphos's own job market is small, so many graduates look to Limassol, Nicosia or abroad. Non-EU students can work part time only in listed sectors, and master's graduates can apply to stay up to 12 months to look for work or start a business in their field.
