About the university
Thompson Rivers University has offered education in Kamloops, British Columbia, since 1970. It has a main campus in Kamloops, a smaller campus in Williams Lake and a large Open Learning division for distance study, and serves more than 25,000 students in all.
TRU offers bachelor's degrees, post-baccalaureate diplomas and master's degrees. Its business school, computing science and data science programmes, tourism management and nursing are the ones it promotes most to international students, and many programmes include co-op work terms.
