About Dawson College
Dawson College is a public CEGEP in Montreal, founded in 1969. It teaches two-year pre-university DEC programmes (such as Science and Commerce), which lead on to Quebec universities, and three-year career DEC programmes (such as Computer Science Technology, Nursing and Civil Engineering Technology), which lead to work. It awards diplomas, not degrees.
International students pay a fee per semester set by Quebec's education ministry, from CAD 7,575 (pre-university, social and administration programmes) to CAD 11,740 (medical programmes). Applicants whose high school was outside Quebec must show French at B2 level as well as English, and Dawson has no residence. Indian students should check both points before applying.
