About Champlain College St. Lawrence
Champlain College St. Lawrence is the only public English-language CEGEP in Quebec City, with over 950 students. It is one of the three colleges of Champlain Regional College. As a CEGEP it awards the Diploma of College Studies (DEC), not degrees: two-year pre-university programmes lead to university and three-year career programmes lead to work.
Teaching is in English, but international applicants must also prove French at B2 level on a recognised test unless they are exempt, and must take the college's own English assessment. Indian applicants without French will need to reach B2 before applying. International students pay CA$7,575 per semester in Fall 2026.
