About the university
Champlain College Saint-Lambert is a public, English-language CEGEP on the South Shore of Montreal, founded in 1972, with about 3,000 students. A CEGEP is a Quebec college that awards the Diploma of College Studies (DEC), not degrees: pre-university DECs prepare students for university and three-year technical DECs prepare them for work.
International students can apply only for the Winter semester. For Winter 2027 the programmes open to them are Health Science, Pure and Applied Science, two General Social Science options and Computer Science Technology, and places are limited. Applicants educated outside Quebec must show 180 hours of French instruction or a French test, and may have to take extra French courses.
