About the university

Centennial College was established in 1966 as Ontario's first public college. It has campuses mainly in the eastern part of the Greater Toronto Area, centred on Progress Campus in Scarborough, and offers about 160 certificate, diploma, graduate certificate and degree programmes.

Centennial is known for applied programmes in business, engineering technology, computing, transportation and aviation, media and health. Many one-year graduate certificates take students with a degree in any discipline, and several honours bachelor's degrees are taught at Progress Campus.

Indian students choose Centennial for its Toronto location, January and May intakes for many graduate certificates, and tuition that starts at about CAD 18,000 a year. Not every programme is PGWP-aligned: check the PGWP status shown on each programme page before you apply.

Scarborough is one of Toronto's most diverse areas. Rents are high across Toronto, so plan housing early.
