About the university

Cégep de Granby is a public CEGEP in Granby, Quebec, with more than 2,300 students. It offers 12 DECs, including computer science, business administration, tourism, nursing, and mechanical, industrial and electrical engineering technology, and hosts the École nationale de la chanson. All teaching is in French.

The college publishes 2026-27 international tuition for each named programme: CAD 7,575 per session for most programmes, CAD 9,805 for engineering technology and CAD 11,740 for nursing. It has no residence of its own but has a housing partnership with the Pavillon étudiant next to the campus.

    Admission requirements

    Undergraduate

    • Apply through SRAM; the college charges a CAD 100 non-refundable administrative fee when you apply.
    • SRAM evaluates your Class 12 and lists which DECs are open to international students.
    • After admission, apply for the CAQ and the study permit. Proof of funds for the permit does not include tuition unless you are exempt.
    • Supplementary tuition is due about 15 days before each session starts.

    Postgraduate

    • Cégep de Granby does not offer postgraduate programmes.

    Accommodation and living costs

    The college has no residence of its own but has a housing partnership with the Pavillon étudiant on rue Saint-Jacques, next to the campus, with dozens of units. Rents are not published; contact the Pavillon directly. Nearby parking costs CAD 50 a month on request.
