About the university

Canadore College is a public college in North Bay, Ontario, which opened in 1967. It has more than 85,000 alumni and graduates about 1,000 students a year. Its campuses in North Bay cover business and technology (Commerce Court), health and sciences (College Drive) and aviation, and it has a smaller campus in West Parry Sound.

Canadore is known for aviation maintenance, health, environmental and trades programmes, and it offers three-year bachelor's degrees in computer science and commerce with a 15-week work term. Teaching is hands-on and class sizes are small.

Indian students look at Canadore for its moderate fees (about CAD 18,000 a year for most diplomas and graduate certificates in 2026-27) and its list of PGWP-eligible programmes, which Canadore publishes and updates. Since the 2024 study permit caps, several programmes have no planned international intakes, so confirm that your programme is open before you apply.

North Bay is a small city in Northern Ontario, on Lake Nipissing. Living costs are lower than in the Greater Toronto Area, but winters are long and cold.
