About the university

Brock University is a public university founded in 1964 in St. Catharines, in Ontario's Niagara region. It has more than 19,000 students in seven faculties and offers more than 70 undergraduate and nearly 50 graduate degrees.

Brock is known for its Goodman School of Business (BBA, BAcc, MBA and accounting master's), its co-op programmes and its computer science degree with honours concentrations in artificial intelligence and software engineering.

Indian students look at Brock because CBSE and CISCE applicants are considered from a 50% Class 12 average, entrance scholarships are automatic for averages of 80% and above, and the one-year MPAcc (International Student Pathway) is designed for international accounting graduates.

St. Catharines is a smaller city near Niagara Falls and the US border, with lower rents than Toronto. The campus sits on the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
