About the university
UTS College is the pathway college of the University of Technology Sydney, with its campus in Sydney. Its diplomas in business, IT, engineering, science, communication, design and architecture, and animation lead into UTS bachelor's degrees, often straight into second year. It also runs UTS Foundation Studies, one- or two-trimester Pre-Master's graduate certificates that lead into the second semester of a UTS master's, and Academic English.
Indian students use UTS College when their Class 12 marks or IELTS scores are just below direct entry to UTS. Diplomas need 60% in the best four academic subjects for CBSE and ISC (65% for most other state boards), and IELTS 6.0. International students move on to UTS with no more than two subject failures. Every diploma costs A$40,500 in 2027, whether you take the 12-month Standard or 8-month Accelerated version.
