Admission requirements
Undergraduate
- Bachelor's degrees need completion of the Indian Class 12 (an overseas equivalent of Australian Year 12), assessed at application.
- Computer science needs some mathematics at senior school level, and engineering needs a pass in mathematics in the final year; Swinburne runs a MathsLink bridging programme if you are missing maths.
- Swinburne College diplomas and the Foundation Program are pathways if you are below the direct-entry level.
- For 2027, Semester 1 classes start on 1 March and Semester 2 on 2 August; check the course page for closing dates.
Postgraduate
- Most master's degrees need a bachelor's degree in any discipline. Engineering master's degrees need a Bachelor of Engineering.
- Swinburne's Postgraduate Qualifying Program is an entry route for international applicants who do not meet the standard requirement.
- Two years of relevant work experience can shorten the MBA to 1.5 years (CV required).
- Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an offer.
Documents
- Valid passport
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets (bachelor's)
- Degree transcripts and certificate (master's)
- English test result
- CV, for the MBA and courses that count work experience
