About the university
Nan Tien Institute (NTI) is a small private higher education provider in Wollongong, south of Sydney, focused on Buddhist studies, health and social wellbeing, mental health and mindfulness. All its award courses are postgraduate: graduate certificates, graduate diplomas and master's degrees. Subjects are taught online, online live or on campus in five-day blocks, and all classes are in English.
Indian students may look at NTI for a master's in Applied Buddhist Studies or in Health and Social Wellbeing, which are taught on campus with supported online study. Its Mental Health courses are delivered 100% online, so we do not list them for student-visa study. NTI is not a university and is not in world rankings.
