About the university
LCI Melbourne is a small private Institute of Higher Education in Collingwood, an inner-city Melbourne suburb known for street art and food. It was previously called the Australian Academy of Design and is now part of LCI Education, a group of 12 institutions on five continents. Its bachelor's and diploma programmes are accredited by TEQSA. On campus, international students can take the Bachelor of Design Arts (majors in interior design, graphic and digital design, fashion and costume design, and visual art) and the Bachelor of Business and Innovation. Its higher education diplomas are taught online.
Indian students look at LCI Melbourne for studio-based design degrees with three intakes a year and no ATAR requirement. Design Arts applicants have an admission consultation. Its online fee calculator shows the same international tuition for each on-campus bachelor's course from February 2027: AUD 200 per credit point, or AUD 60,000 for the 300-point degree. It is not a university and is not in world rankings.
