About the university
Eastern College Australia is a small Christian college in Wantirna, in Melbourne's outer east, which shares its campus with Melbourne School of Theology. It teaches arts, counselling studies, primary and secondary teaching, and Christian ministry, with the motto 'where faith meets vocation'.
Overseas students can take its CRICOS-registered arts and teaching degrees on campus. Teaching degrees need a high IELTS score (7.5 overall, with 8.0 in speaking and listening), and every applicant has an interview. Eastern does not accept overseas students under 18.

Admission requirements
Undergraduate
- Class 12 or equivalent (Australian applicants need an ATAR of 60 for the Bachelor of Arts and 70 for the Bachelor of Education); overseas results are assessed for Australian equivalence.
- An interview with a faculty member, referee details and, for teaching, the Casper test.
- You must be 18 or older when the course starts.
Postgraduate
- Master of Teaching: a bachelor's degree in a discipline other than education, an interview and the Casper test; LANTITE must be completed before the final placement.
